COMPOSITE MEMORY MEDIUM AND COMPOSITE MEMORY MEDIUM REPRODUCTION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To add video information to an optical disk in which only sound information is recorded and to output video information at high speed by integrating the optical disk and a fixed type memory storing video information. CONSTITUTION:Digital sound data is EFM-modulated and is recorded in CD 1 of the optical disk, and digital video data of the composite signal of still picture data for one field is recorded in the fixed type memory 2. When the composite memory medium is mounted, data recorded in the memory 2 is read by a read means 7 through contact type connectors 4 and 5. The video data is D/A-converted 8 and is set to be an NTSC signal. Then, CD 1 is reproduced by a reproduction means 9, and data is EFM-demodulated and is set to be a sound reproduction signal to which an error correction processing is executed. Then, the signal is D/A-converted 10 and outputted.
