PURPOSE:To simplify application and to reduce the weight by sticking spacers shaped suitably for corner portions to the respective corner portions of a steel frame such as a column, a beam or the like through a filler, and fixing a fireproof heat-insulating plate to each spacer. CONSTITUTION:A U-shaped spacer 4 is stuck to each corner portion 2 of a steel frame 1 such as an H-shaped steel column or beam through a filler 3. A felt-like or a board-like inorganic fiber heat insulating material 6 is fitted to the steel frame at need, and an L-shaped spacer 4 is stuck to the surface of the above. If the steel frame 1 is square, only the L-shaped spacer 4 may be stuck. A fireproof heat insulating plate 5 is fixed to the spacer. By this arrangement, the application can be simplified, and the weight can be reduced.
