FAULT DATA COLLECTION METHOD BY INVERSION TEST

PURPOSE:To easily analyze cause to a fault quickly by allowing a slave station to distinguish an inverted data and a fault detail data by a flag or a code for a transmission period of inversion test command from a master station and sending the result to the master station respectively. CONSTITUTION:A non-use bit on a transmission word from a slave station S to a master station M is used as a flag or a code to discriminate the data kind (normal data, inverted data and fault data). Thus, the master station M can easily discriminate whether the data is a faulty or not by checking the flag or the code and the error data of the slave station S is stored in a memory S6. Moreover, when the fault data is collected by the inversion test, since the equipment itself is intended for the test of the equipment itself of the slave station S in the remote monitor control system, the fault data of the slave station S is assigned to the transmission word data and sent to the master station M usefully. Thus, the analysis of cause of occurrence of a fault is easily implemented quickly.
