摘要

PURPOSE:To grind the end face of a work to be ground accurately by forming the grinding surface of a cup-shaped grinding wheel from a tapered surface which face outwards or inwards in the radial direction. CONSTITUTION:A tapered surface 16b is formed on the outside or inside in radial direction of the grinding part 16a of a cup-shaped grinding wheel 16, and the surface 38a of a work to be ground 38 is ground by the sharp point 16c of this tapered surface 16b. Thereby the surface 38a of the work 38 can be ground accurately without formation of an interferential pattern.
