PURPOSE:To decide the hierarchical relation of classes at a higher speed by adding previously a code to each class and deciding the hierarchical relation between two classes based on the codes added to these classes. CONSTITUTION:A code is previously added to each class and the hierarchical relation is decided between two classes based on the codes added to these classes. When the codes are added to the classes, a tree is traced with the priority given to the depth from the class equivalent to the root of the tree against the class hierarchical relation of a tree structure. Then the numbers are given to the classes in the tracing order. Thus the continuous numbers are given to the classes equivalent to all nodes of the partial trees of the tree structure. As a result, it is possible to easily decide that the classes having the continuous numbers have the lower ranks corresponding to the root of a tree and that the classes of other numbers have no lower rank respectively.
