DUST SEPARATION APPARATUS EQUIPPED WITH AUTOMATIC BACKWASH MECHANISM AND NOZZLE FOR BACKWASHING

PURPOSE:To dust off effectively and efficiently by providing a backwash nozzle consisting of an ejector nozzle and a double venturi nozzle to the starting end side of a metallic filter, and backwashing. CONSTITUTION:The vent gas contg. dust introduced from an inlet nozzle 8 hits against an impingement plate 19 where a part of dust is separated, and then passes into an original gas part 6. The gas is filtered while passing through a metallic filter 13, passes into a filtered gas part 7 through a central hole 12a of a venturi nozzle 12, and is discharged from an outlet nozzle 9. When clogging is detected by pressure detecting nozzle 18a and 18b, an automatic closing valve 15 is opened to eject a backwashing gas toward the central hole 12a of the venturi nozzle 12 through a supply tube 11. At this time, a large amt. of the secondary gas is sucked into the central hole 12a by the ejector action, and jetted into the inside of the metallic filter 13. At the same time, the backwashing gas is jetted to the outer surface of the filter 13 through an outside hole 12b.
