APPARATUS FOR ULTRASONIC FLAW DETECTION OF STUD BOLT

PURPOSE:To make it possible to continuously and automatically perform the flaw detection of a stud bolt with good efficiency, by attaching a plurality of stud bolts to the periphery of a support in a detachable manner and holding a probe to the arm revolving around the support. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of receiving stands are provided on the circle of circumference around a support 4 on a base plate and stud bolts 5 for clamping the lid of the vessel of an atomic reactor are provided to said receiving stands in a detachable manner. A support stand 15 is attached to the support 4 and an arm 21 is attached to the support 4 so as to be rotated around said support 4. A rack 40 moving up and down through a guide 27 is attached to the leading end of the arm 21 and an ultrasonic probe 43 is attached to the lower end of the rack 40. The probe 43 is successively driven by pulse motors 19, 31 to continuously perform flaw detection.
