摘要
Catalysts for the removal of nitrogen oxides from waste gases, especially from flue gases, based on titanium dioxide with molybdenum trioxide, tungsten trioxide and vanadium pentoxide as further catalytically active components are known. However, they suffer rapid deactivation on contact with arsenic compounds. The novel preparation process is intended to provide catalysts which are resistant to arsenic poisoning. By means of additional impregnation of titanium oxide-based catalysts according to the state of the art with a dissolved compound of molybdenum and/or tungsten and, if appropriate, a compound of vanadium, catalysts showing excellent resistance to arsenic poisoning are obtained. Use of catalysts resistant to arsenic poisoning for the removal of nitrogen oxide from waste gases.
