Connection arrangement of four-quadrant impulse converter with power field controlled by transistors is used mainly in higher switching frequencies of tenths or hundreds of kHZ for power supply and speed control of single direction motors with low inductance of armature winding. It solves the problem of easy setting of optimum switching times and switching losses for a selected operating frequency of the converter. The connection is arranged in the following way: The control transistors (17, 18; 20, 21; 23, 24; 26, 27) impedantly adapt gate inputs of the separate field-controoled transistors (2, 5, 8, 11) in a way that the control trimmers (16, 19, 22, 25) define with their size the values of the output resistors of the separate excitation circuit of field-controlled power transistors (2, 5, 8, 11) controlled by field. The change of the value of the output resistors of the separate excitation circuits results also in change of the strength of the controlling currents, thus change in switching times. Inductances (1, 4, 7, 10) connected in collectors of the separate field-controlled power transistors (2, 5, 8, 11) influence by their size current and voltage flows in the time of switching of separate field-controlled power transistors (2, 5, 8, 11), and therefore also the amount of switching losses.IMAGE
