Compounds of the general formula(see fig. I)in which each of A and B independently represents ahalogen atom or an alkyl group; m is 0 or 1; R representsa hydrogen atom or a group -S.CO2R1, -S.SO2R1 or -S.NR2R3,in which R1 represents an optionally substituted alkyl oraryl group; R2 represents an optionally substituted alkylor aryl group; and R3 represents an optionally substitutedalkyl or aryl group, or a group of formula -CO2R4, -SO2R4,-COR4, -CO.CO2R4, -CO.NR5R6 or -SO2NR5R6, in which R4represents an optionally substituted alkyl or aryl group,and each of R5 and R6 independently represents anoptionally substituted alkyl or aryl group; or R2 and R3together or R5 and R6 together represent an optionallysubstituted alkylene group; in each case, the optionalsubstituents for an alkyl or alkylene group being selectedfrom halogen, alkoxy, alkoxycarbonyl, haloalkoxycarbonyl,alkylcarbonyl, haloalkylcarbonyl, alkylsulphonyl andhaloalkylsulphonyl, and the optional substituents for anaryl group being selected from these substituents and alsoalkyl, haloalkyl, cyano and nitro; X represents a halogenatom or a cyano, nitro, alkyl or haloalkyl group; each ofY and Z independently represents a halogen atom or acyano, nitro or haloalkyl group; n is 0, 1, 2 or 3; and pis 0, 1 or 2; have useful pesticidal activity.
