A solvent-free oil-in-water emulsion of propetamphos comprising PP(a) 5 to 50% by weight of technical propetamphos in the form of droplets having a particle size of below 5 micron,P P(b) 1 to 8% by weight of a polyvinyl alcohol, PP(c) 1 to 3% by weight of a buffer, buffering the pH of the formulation to pH 6 to 7,PP(d) 1 to 2% by weight of a vegetable oil,P P(e) 0.5 to 2% by weight of an emulsifierPP(f) 0 to 8% by weight of an antifreezing agentPP(g) 0 to 0.1% by weight of an antifoaming agent (h) 0 to 0.1% by weight of a perfume, PPthe balance being water, and a process of preparing such emulsion.
