The system spreads fertiliser over land from a travelling machine. The machine incorporates a mechanism spreading water at the same time, the water being discharged at a higher level than the fertiliser. This can be done by nozzles (3,5) reciprocating in synchronism on vertical axes, so that they always discharge in the same direction. The water nozzle can be above the one for e the fertiliser.
