The feeder, according to this invention, is designed for improving the feeding of young rabbits raised in cages; this is achieved by placing in the feeding trough a wire grate, parallel to the cage wall; this forms some lanes through which the young rabbits have access to the feed from the cage, with their mouth and, at the most, with the front legs but they cannot face the cage, cannot walk along the feeding trough parallel to the cage and cannot leave the cage in the feeder.
