The indicator is comprised of an elongate body which houses an electric battery and a small electronic circuit supplied by the battery, which elongate body is closed at one of its extremities by a cover for access to the battery and having a luminescent diode and/or acoustic buzzer incorporated in the side wall of the body, and having incorporated through the other extremity a long appendix terminated by a pair of appropriately separated electrodes.
