Cutting machine of the kind comprising, for the execution of a curved kerf (20) in a working face (11), a fixed guide (23) part at least of which is bent globally in the form of a cylindrical arch, according to a profile which has the image of that of the kerf (20) to be executed, and a traveller (25) which, mounted so as to be mobile on the said guide (23), is suited to supporting a cutting head (26), the said guide (23) comprising, parallel one to the other, two guide rails (36) with each of which the said traveller (25) engages, characterised in that the plane (M) along which the guide (23) extends globally is oblique with respect to the generatrices (G) of the arch which it forms, with its median part (32) off-set towards the front with respect to its ends (33), and in that, for its engagement with this guide (23), the traveller (25) comprises in a distinct manner, on the one hand, two shoes (39) which each engage, respectively, with the two guide rails (35) comprising the said guide (23) and, on the other, a body (40) which, installed from one of the said shoes (39) to the other, is connected to each of the latter by rotating means.
