ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREMeans and methods for maintaining laboratorywork stations which have essentially open work areas,free of noxious and malodorous air contaminants bythe use of tempered induction air combined withcontaminant bearing exhaust air to limit thethroughput of more expensive conditioned air. Themeans enables both the utilization of an integrallighting unit and the efficient collection of noxiousair without creating unwanted drafts and currents.
