PROCESS FOR PREPARATION OF WATER-PROOF SHEETSABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREDisclosed is a process for preparing a water-proofsheet by forming a polymer coating on both the surfacesof a fibrous substrate fabric. At first, the fibroussubstrate fabric is treated with a water repellant, andboth the surfaces are subjected to the low temperatureplasma treatment or corona discharge treatment. Then, apolymer coating is formed on both the surfaces. Accord-ing to this process, the peel strength of the polymercoating is improved and the water absorbing property isreduced substantially to zero. If an inorganic fibersubstrate fabric is treated according to this process,the bending resistance is highly improved in the result-ing water-proof sheet.
