ARTICLE FEEDER RING FOR USE IN A VIBRATORY BOWL FEEDERABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREApparatus for orienting and feeding axiallyelongated articles includes a feeder bowl with an articleramp surface terminating at the upper edge of the bowland an annular article feeder ring, supported forrotation around an upper portion of the feeder bowl, hasan upwardly facing article supporting surface contiguouswith a terminal portion of the ramp surface to receivearticles therefrom. A stationary ring is arranged withina recess in the article supporting surface of the articlefeeder ring and includes an upwardly facing articlesupporting surface substantially continuous and planarwith the supporting surface of the feeder ring. A radialgroove within the article supporting surface of thestationary ring accepts a guide conveyor which directsthe articles tangentially away from the article feederring.
