The present invention relates to a V region gene fragment of a mouse monoclonal antibody against a colon cancer Colon6-derived antigen, to a plasmid which carries a chimeric antibody gene comprising said gene fragment and a human antibody C region gene or the like joined thereto, to a host transformed with said plasmid and to a method of preparation which comprises cultivating said host for causing expression of the chimeric antibody. Particularly when a yeast is used as the host, the invention enables stable and efficient chimeric antibody production.
