Four-wing (61,62,63,64) non-intermeshing rotors (21,22) are optimized for synchronous rotation to be driven by synchronous drive means (48,40) at a constant 180 DEG phase angle there being two long wings (61,62) and two short wings (63,64) on each rotor.The axial forces on each rotor (21,22) advantageously are balanced as well as the rotational and axial forces of both rotors.
