In a dust filter having cassette-type filter elements, the filter cassettes are composed of flat, porous webs of filter material which are pleated meander-like and are enclosed by a frame. The filter cassettes, with interlaying of a sealing element, are attached dust-tightly to an attachment plate which is arranged between the dust space and clean gas space of a filter casing. This makes possible an attachment device which ensures absolute dust-tightness. The attachment device is to be simple to produce, easy to handle on attachment and detachment of the filter cassettes with one movement of the hand and to be adjustable to every type of seal. In addition, decay of the elasticity of the sealing element is to be easily compensated for. For this purpose, the filter cassettes are attached to holder rails and at least one bar spring is rotatably mounted in the holder rails, which bar spring is furnished at one of its ends as a crank and, along its further course, with at least one crank pin which is supported in an articulated manner on the attachment plate.
