Streptomycin sensitive gene having a lot of cloning sites, plasmid vector containing the same and microorganism containing the vector

The known cloning vector pN01523 carries both an ampicillin resistance gene and a dominant gene conferring streptomycin sensitivity on a streptomycin resistant host. However, this plasmid has an unsuf- ficient number of cutting sites for restriction enzymes. This defect has been overcome by providing cloning vectors having the same markers but a multitude of available cloning sites.
