Method of continuous determination of thinness of fibres in yarns and relative apparatus for application of the same

The method serves for converting by calibration and combined processing measurement data obtained from continuous measurements which are dependent on a plurality of parameters, especially property parameters of slivers and fibres, of which the slivers consist, and also on environmental, processing and measurement parameters, into data which relate to only individual property parameters and their time variations and which are reduced to standard conditions in terms of environmental and processing parameters. The corresponding apparatus consists of two sensors, a calibrating unit and a processing unit and makes it possible to measure continuously the quantity of material per length of the respective sliver and the time variations in the fibre fineness.
