In prodn. of inclusion cpds. (clathrates), i.e. inclusion of guest particles in host liqs., guest particles are enclosed in liq. polymers, with the liq. polymers serving as structural support and host polymers. The liq. polymers, with or after addn. of the guest particles, are opened so that the gas particles can enter. Opening of the liq. polymers is achieved by spontaneous redn. of the external pressure, which must be more rapid than the slowness of the natural pressure equilibrium, so that the inner excess pressure of the liq. polymers must forcibly open up to the pressure equilibrium. To optimise the chance of entry, the guest particles are positioned around the host polymers. Changes in the external pressure and the positioning of the guest particles are brought about by the different pressure zones and layer formation in a vortex sink. Inclusion of the guest particles in the liq. polymers is promoted by controlling the pH or the temp. The charges and/or partial charges play a determining role in the inclusion of guest particles, e.g. promotion of the inclusion by the attraction of dissimilar charges. Closure of the host liq. polymers after inclusion of the guest particles results from raising the external pressure, and is optimised by the 3-dimensional mixing rolling movement within the vortex sink. USE - Sensitive cpds., toxic gases, autooxidisable substances or unwanted particles and/or (radioactive) charged carriers can be embedded, stabilised or inactivated and rendered harmless. Energy carriers can be stably embedded until they are called into use. Application includes protection of the environment.
