The moulding compositions contain a large amount of magnesium hydroxide filler and are based on polymer blends which comprise mixtures of polypropylene homopolymers and/or copolymers, ethylene-propylene terpolymer rubber and optionally polyethylene homopolymers and/or copolymers, polyacrylate homopolymers and/or copolymers and polyvinyl acetate homopolymers and/or copolymers, the magnesium hydroxide optionally being coated with silane and having a particle size distribution of 100 % 10 mu m, 90 % 5 mu m.
