Conveyor for double ply roll of sheeting - incorporates unwinder and winder reel with deflector rollers

The conveyor for a double-ply length of sheeting (1) being unwound from an unwinder- reel (2) and separated into two single-ply sheets, has a winder-reel (7,12) for the single-ply sheets. One sheet (3) is conveyed at a constant speed between the unwinder (2) and winder (7) reel. Between the unwinder (2) and winder (12) reel for the other sheet (4) is a fixed (10) and movable (11) deflector-roller. The movable deflector-roller (11) can be moved at right angles to its axle and the amt. of force exerted onto the sheet (4) running over it adjsuted. A switch for a drive mechanism for the other sheet's (4) winder-reel (12) switches off the drive mechanism when a pre-set boundary position (15) is reached for the movable deflector roller (11). USE/ADVANTAGE - The two sheets of the double-ply length are smoothly conveyed between an unwinder and winder reel.
