The clutch disc has a hub with inner and outer (36,37,38) toothed surfaces, the latter mating with the inner toothed surface (26,27,28) of a hub disc. Apertures in the hub disc and adjoining cover plates accept torsional vibration damping springs. The mating teeth of the hub and teeth grooves of the hub disc have varying widths (I,II,III). By varying their relative angular position, different amounts of play can be set between the hub and hub disc. USE/ADVANTAGE - Different clutch disc damping settings are possible.
