The seal assembly (14) is fitted to an outwardly directed flange (13) of a vehicle window frame (11), housing an opening window (12). An extension (17) of the seal assembly overlaps the top edge (16) of the window. An elastic seal lip (19), attached to and extending upwards from the window side of the extension, seals against the top edge of the window. The lip has at least one integral hinge (20,21,22) and is supported against inner surfaces (25,28) of the seal assembly. USE/ADVANTAGE - A more durable seal fitted to an outwardly directed flange on a vehicle window frame.
