An anti-theft device for a bicycle consists of a special switch (2) with a bolt which projects between the spokes of the wheel (1). This switch is connecterd by cables to a battery and bell fitted inside the down tube (10) of the bicycle frame. If the bicycle is wheeled either forwards or backwards by an unauthorised person the spokes tilt the bolt to one side to activate the switch which causes the bell to ring. Once the switch has been activated it remains in the 'on' position until switched off by a special key. USE - Anti-theft device for bicycles.
