A carton manufactured in plastic film or similar material is formed by sealing of the inner face edges against each other to create a long seam and two shorter cross-seams. A small cut is made in the root area of the long seam and in only one of the two layers. The cut extends along the long seam from the outer edge of one of the cross-seams. Cut(s) can be made in both cross-seams and can be formed of several parallel, closely aligned cuts or a triangular cut with an inward pointing apex. USE/ADVANTAE - For drinks cartons. No part of the carton is torn off, therefore the carton can be reclosed.
