An energy saving process for producing finely powdered materials is described. Large sizes of material are reduced in size by pre granulating and the product is sieved. material Larger lumps are returned to the granulator while smaller up to 5 mm, which constitutes 20-40% of the final product, passes to a sifter. The coarsest material is removed and directed to a roll mill. Mill output is returned to the sifter together with the finest material from the sieve. Final product size from the sifter is 0-0.09mm. USE/ADVANTAGE - Production of fine particle powders such as quicklime, cement. Known production method is improved by reduced energy costs at low investment cost. Provides better influence on the particle size range.
