In a process for processing recycled polymers containing impurities, plasticized polymer from a continuously operating extruder passes through a distribution head attached to the extruder nozzle and feeds moulds, automatically located in front of the head. The distribution head has at least two outlets which can be opened or closed by pre-programmed slides. When a tool is full and reaches a given pressure a sensor operates the slides. A slide only opens when a tool inlet is correctly aligned with a head outlet. A further slide is only operated if the head pressure exceeds a given value. USE/ADVANTAGE - Filling tools of different shapes with recycled polymer containing impurities. Precise control of the tool filling stage is realized and nozzle blockage during tool changes is prevented.
