Aluminium tiles for collecting solar energy - have anodised external surfaces with matt black finish

Solar energy is collected by pipes (3) which are fastened to the rafters (1) of a roof. The pipes run horizontally and parallel to each other and are equally spaced from each other. The pipes (3) serve to support tiles (6) made from aluminium which are shaped so that they can be hooked over the pipes (3). These aluminium tiles have anodised outer surfaces with a matt black finish to absorb solar heat. This heat is then transmitted to water which is circulated through the pipes (3). USE/ADVANTAGE - The tiles have the same external appearance as traditional tiles and avoid the use of unsightly solar panelss.
