An electronic multiplier circuit forms the product by adding binary coded partial products. The multiplicands and the multiplier are converted into binary code using a fixed value circuit which converts the decimal numbers of the multiplicands and multiplier from 1-to-10 code directly into binary code. The fixed value circuit (1) has a dedicated drive line for each value of 1 to 9 of the decimal numbers. A first serial adder circuit (30) contains three accumulator-shift registers (6-8). USE/ADVANTAGE - Electronic multiplier circuit performs direct conversion into binary code then converts to 8421 code.
