The arrangement has flaps (4) pivoting to the wall at certain regions. Immediately adjoining these flaps are slides or slopes (5). Loudspeakers (9) are located near these slopes and pref. above them. Enticing sounds are played from the loudspeaker from a tape recorder (12). The slopes are amde of stainless steel or of slippery plastic. Transportation containers are sited at the bottom of the slopes. The birds are enticed to go through the flaps, whereupon they slip down the slides and into the containers ready for transportation. Loudspeakers in other parts of the rearing hall may be made to emit alarm signals to drive the birds towards the flaps. ADVANTAGE - Rapid and gentle confinement and semi-automatic.
