The slewing rim has a first ball race with a U-profile, fastened to a dredger chassis. A second T-shaped ball race is fastened to the dredger body and there are two horizontal neighbouring rows of balls. In the area of its web (16), the second ballrace (7) consists of two parts (17,18), located together. Each row of balls (10,11) is enclosed on one side by the webs (14,15) of the U-shaped ballrace (4) and on the other side, by the two-part web of the T-shaped ball race.
