Tyre retreading by application of a rubber mix which is vulcanised by heat and pressure is characterised by the use of a mix contg.: (A) SBR, polybutadiene and/or natural rubber; (B) S as vulcanisation agent; and (C) an accelerator system contg. 2-6 pts.wt.
