Delicate fabric drying - uses raised temp. in final drying phase close to glass point of fibre to avoid creasing

To dry delicate fabrics, partic. of man-made fibres or mixts. of cotton and man-made fibres, the temp. of the last and final section of the heating phase is brought to a value which is close to the glass point of the synthetic fibres. The temp. is more than 90 deg C, and is applied for about 15 mins.. The raised drying temp. is achieved by reducing the drying air, or increasing the action of the heater. The atmos. in the washing drum has a humidity of more than 70%. ADVANTAGE - The fabrics are crease-free and are smooth at the end of the drying process.
