The measurement unit (1) contains a closed pan (21) of optical shape between a housing (2) and the lower part (1b) of the measurement unit contg. mechanical drive parts. The drive parts are set in motion by the flowing liquid. The pan encloses the lower housing part and seals it w.r.t. the housing interior, forms an intermediate chamber (15) and has an inlet (11) of optional shape. USE/ADVANTAGE - For use in embedded metal housing (2). Housing internal chamber in region of input exerts no influence on measurement accuracy and measurement tolerances are maintained.
