The setting system allows the sound levels of the individual loudspeakers to be adjusted to allow the obtained sound centre to be different to the geometric centre of the loudspeakers. The sound levels of the loudspeakers may be varied dynamically, so the obtained sound centre moves around the room. The sound level of each loudspeaker is varied in dependance on the distance of the required sound centre from the individual loudspeaker and/or the physiological hearing characteristics of the listener. ADVANTAGE - Requires relatively small number of speakers for largee room.
