The windscreen washing water container in a car is provided with a filler plug assembly which provides container ventilation but prevents water leakage. The plug assembly includes an outer sleeve (2) with external sealing lips (21, 22) and a radial flange (23) at its top end. The sleeve is located by a cylindrical collar (34) on the container and houses a central plug (1) such that a circular gap (32) is produced between the sleeve and the plug. The inside end of the plug locates an external O-ring seal (17) that closes the gap (32) when plug is pushed upwards by water pressure. USE/ADVANTAGE - Water container for car windscreen washer is provided with filler hole plug that provides container ventilation and prevents water leakage.
