The endoprosthesis has slide tracks on its side directed towards the femur for a condyle-simulating skid on the joint femur part. A bone-fixed baseplate has a flat bearing surface for a releasably latched top part, the baseplate partly ringed by a collar which is positively grasped by the top part when this is latched home. A latching element (8) directed towards the femur on the baseplate (2) presents a pin with thickened head part (9) as matched by a hole (10) with flexible annular step (11) inside on the top part baseplate (1,4). When the two parts are latched together, the head (9) ends up above the step inside the hole (10). USE/ADVANTAGE - Surgery, artifical knee joints. The joint is easily renovated using the latching element, so the worn part only needs to be replaced with minimum disturbance.
