Filling and emptying hollow spaces in bodies - involves the variation of permeability to heat and other energy and radiation types

The bodies are so formed that its corresp. hollow spaces are filled with a medium (1) which varies the through passage of an energy from i.e. reduces their size, polarises, spectrally displaces, or divides them. The filler medium can be changed, alter altered or variously pigmented, (4) thus varying the permeability of the body according to the corresp. energy form. The number of pigments used, their colour and/or their structure can be so adjusted that the body permeability is varied. The pigmentation and/or the filler medium itself (1) can be so selected that heat in the bodies is absorbed and moved away for discharge into the atmosphere. USE - In rooms and buildings, to absorb and conduct away heat from premises which it is required to cool, or to emit heat in premises which require heating.
