The safety blocking valve for a building gas supply has a setting element (3) controlling a valve closure cone (2), followed by a regulating membrane (11) for a first regulation stage. The obtained regulated pressure is fed to a second regulation stage (8). An intermediate regulation stage, lying between the safety valve and a pressure regulating valve, has an intermediate regulating valve acting as a membrane-controlled safety valve. The latter opens when a pressure determined by a spring bias is exceeded and is used to operate the setting membrane (5) of the safety blocking valve for closure of the valve closure cone (2).
