The swashplate gear with a toothed swashplate disc incorporates two spaced-apart outer rings (3, 3') freely rotating on a shaft (2). The opposite-facing sides of the rings each have a toothed rim (4, 4'). Between the rings is one or more swashplate discs (5) with toothed rims (6, 6') on both sides. Between the swashplate discs are annular spacer-pieces (7). Between each of the outer rings and the adjacent swashplate disc is an annular spacer piece (8, 8'). USE/ADVANTAGE - The swashplate gear gives high transmissions with few components, is noiseless and can transmit high torques.
