The magnetic strip (1) consists of highly coercive permanent magnetic particles bonded in a flexible synthetic material and is axially magnetised such that one surface (6) is polarised as a North pole and the opposite surface (7) as a South pole. The surface of the magnetic strip is perforated with a variety of holes/cavities (8) having a dia. 5 to 30 times that of the strip thickness. This constructional technique produces an intensified magnetic induction effect which creates poles of opposite polarity to the strip surface (6.7) at the hole/cavity (8) centres, thus establishing an evenly distributed multi-pole magnetic field throughout the length of the magnetic strip (1). USE/ADVANTAGE - Thin, flexible permanent magnetic strips suitable for cushions, under blankets, shoesoles etc. Magnetic strips produce intensive, evenly distributed magnetic field with constant penetration depth.
