Driving branches of inverter - sing common DC source for parallel branches formed by semiconductor switches controlled in same direction and supplying load via choke
Driving branches of inverter - sing common DC source for parallel branches formed by semiconductor switches controlled in same direction and supplying load via choke
The parallel current regulator circuit uses a number of parallel current regulator paths between a DC source and a common load. The current in each regulator path is detected to provide a mean current value, at least two current values compared with the latter to provide difference values used to adjust the phases of the ignition pulses for the different thyristors, to maintain the symmetry between the currents obtained from each current regulator path. The current regulator paths are coupled galvanically via the throttle coils supplying the load and the ignition pulses for the thyristors in the paths with current values outside the mean value band are adjusted while the pulses for the thyristors in the remaining paths also delayed or advanced. ADVANTAGE - Ensures current symmetry.
