A burner of a stirling cycle comprises an orifice of the input of air, an orifice of an internal-combustion engine, and a combustion chamber between these two orifices, the combustion chamber comprising an inlet orifice provided with a device for the production of turbulence which comprises a pair of plates spaced substantially parallel 21, 22 provided with central openings whose centres are aligned, a plurality of fins of the spiral guide 24 being willing between the plates. Each fin has a curvature in which a line tangent at a point of the fin with a straight line passing through this point and the center of the central opening a substantially constant angle between 30 and 80, so that two adjacent fins define a passage of input 25, the surface of which decreases progressively towards the central opening. This passage communicates with a end contiguous to the central openings with the combustion chamber and at its other end with the orifice of the input.
