Detergent additives - dispersants based on alkylphenates of metals, alkaline-earth - metal and alkylsalicylates of alkali metals greaseproof and overalkalinized for lubricating oils, obtained by: - neutralization of an alkylphenol to c8 - c3 0 with the aid of an alkali metal hydroxide, optionally in the presence of a third solvent; - removing the water; - the carboxylation of the alkaline alkylphenate to alkylsalicylate alkaline; - sulphurisation - superalkalisation of the medium obtained by the sulphur in the presence of an alkaline-earth - earth, of an alkylene glycol and of a third solvent and carbonation; - elimination of the alkylene glycol and of the third solvent; - filtration.
