PURPOSE:To make cleaning of the inside of a piston cylinder feasible without disassembling the piston cylinder by a method wherein a penetrable hole whose axis is in a position at a specified distance from the axis of a piston rod is provided, and a movable rod which is equipped with a valve body on a position adjacent to its end part for opening and shutting of the penetrable hole and a locking means that keeps the penetrable hole under closed state with the valve body are also provided CONSTITUTION:A movable rod 71 retracts into the inside of a piston head 29 with a lock pin 74 engaged with a lock groove 75 on a piston 75A for closing, and thereby a penetrable hole 72 is closed. The movable rod 71 projects toward the outside of the piston head 29 with the lock pin 74 engaged with the lock groove 75 on a position 75B for opening, and thereby the penetrable 72 is opened. On cleaning of the inside of a piston cylinder 23, the piston head 29 is stopped in the middle of the stroke for suction, and the penetrable hole 72 is opened by operation of a valve body 73. Cleaning liquid poured to the inside of the piston cylinder 23 under such state runs through the penetrable hole 72 and a through hole 33A, and is discharged outside through a three-way valve 42. Therefore, the cleaning liquid flows smoothly around the upper surface of the piston head 29 without staying there.
